The Founder

Hey, I'm Sam.

I spent seven years in hospitality before I saved up enough to buy a vintage van and turn it into something I’m genuinely proud of.

Roaming Rhythm started from a love of serving people. Being in different places, meeting new communities, connecting people over coffee and cocktails. But honestly? The part I love most is the unpredictability. Adapting to change, showing up somewhere new, and making it feel like we were always meant to be there.

Every event is different, and that’s the whole point. We meet you where you are, fit into your rhythm, and make the whole thing feel effortless.

The Van

The van has a story of its own. Built in the 1970s, it started life as a camper before a young couple in Bunbury restored it and launched their own coffee business from it. It passed to two sisters who grew it even further. By the time I took the keys, the rhythm was already there. I just gave it a name.

Roaming Rhythm was a standout at our ACC Winter Meet, which drew a crowd of over 2,000. Sam arrived right on time with a clean, professional setup, and stayed attentive and fully engaged with our guests all day. From the first cup to the last baked treat, everyone felt looked after. We'd gladly have Roaming Rhythm back anytime.
